Hard work is a myth

All work tends to be hard if you do not love it or like. Hardwork can be something which cause you mental or physical strain. But, notice that you ignore these strains when you do what you love. For example holding your baby in your arms for hours, though its giving you a little pain in your arms but you continue loving him/her. You might love writing or playing sports or any instrument or cooking, dancing, teaching or whatever. You do them with your best of your ability. Think of the tasks in your daily routine which you love to do. Notice how well you do them. The things done with love, a person concentrates only on the pleasure and ignore all the pain. (this line should go on twitter :)
On the other hand, when you do something which you do not love or even do not like, gives you strain (physical and mental both). Suppose your boss or a person you do not like ask you to hold his/ her bag. Doesn't you hand starts paining, your mind fills with frustration. Though the job is easy :)
Now your current job may not that appealing to you or you may even hate it. But you have to do it anyways for obvious reasons, at least today you got to do it. Then how to love what you are going to do today. Simple, that task or job or work going to be done is by YOU. And you is important. How a job cannot be 100% perfect and beautiful if its done by you?
Mind that 'YOU' is important here. Like for me, I am important for myself.
But I am not saying continue doing what you hate. But do whatever willingly or un-willingly with love. Make it fun. You living this second shall not be boring. No one can take it from you.
Also, in the mean time do try to find what you love. List down your likes and dislikes. Make a good list. Take at least 1 or 2 weeks for it. Sit once, think about them one by one. "If I like to do this, why I like to do this and how much I love to do it". Finally, you will know what you love to do. And never forget one mantra "Things moving around in this world, are UNPREDICTABLE.". So do not think you cannot make money from what you love. You can. Just think unconventionally (out of the box).
Now about other things apart from your job the house hold work, taxation, meeting someone, shopping, or whatever which you do unwillingly can be made fun by this fact. At least you won't say "its hard to do it for me."
Love yourself, everything around you, everything you do willingly or unwillingly. As mentioned in Gita by Lord Krishna, love is a natural state of any human being. Thus it can be attained by anyone. Meditation is one of the way.

There is too much of Love up there. :D
Hope you loved reading.

Cherios for now :)

Retirement planning at 30

Recurring deposit calculation... (BEFORE 60) Say your age is 30 and started thinking about retirement plans and pensions. Though there are many options out there, but lets do some calculations by taking the safest route of saving/investing money for our retirement and which is NOT SUBJECT TO MARKET RISK i.e., Recurring Deposit or Fixed Deposit or Public Provident Fund. Say you wish to retire at the age of 60.  Thus, 30 more years to work and receive your paychecks. Say you will live for 100 years.  Thus, you need pension money for  40 X 12 = 480 months Say you want 100,000 INR per month as a pension.  Thus your bank account should have  100,000 X 40 X 12 = 4,80,00,000 (4 crores 80 lakhs) ...at the age of retirement (60) Say you use the recurring deposit mode for saving and reaching the target of 4 crores and 80 Lakhs.  So how much you should invest per month in your recurring deposit? I used this calculator online: http://rd-calculator.in/ Maturity Amount:...
